We met with SHEP films yesterday and they're taking Hanneld/Herrin on to do a little design work for their upcoming film, "Prospect." We are ridiculously excited to be working with them, making fictional SciFi corporate logos (they even had Weyland-Yutani from ALIEN on their moodboard!) and other weird collateral (particularly excited to make cute stickers for a little girl who isn't really from earth so it can't be stickers with cherries and unicorns...)
Prospect is a feature length version of this short film.
One of our heroes did their pitch book. The whole thing is funded in some roundabout way by the fella who wrote the last Star Wars movie, Rogue One.
We'll be working in their (amazing) workshop/offices every Monday if things go to plan. It's like a baby WETA studios -- People working on miniatures, building neato SciFi weapons and space helmets, sculpting with clay, there's even a giant spaceship set piece that we got to go inside -- it's nuts and beyond our wildest dreams.
We'll keep you posted :D
